Whether the mess is becoming unbearable, you’ve got unwanted materials or furniture to dispose of, or you're just ready for a cleanout, you can contact us via phone or text.

We’ll even let you in on a little secret — we prefer you send us a picture message containing your “junk” so we can provide you with an accurate estimate.

Once we know what you have, we can give our recommendation on dumpster size.

We charge a flat fee no matter how much space you fill, so don’t be afraid to load it up. (Note that additional charges will apply after the first 2,000 pounds.)

Once we’ve connected, we’ll provide the necessary instructions to have your items tested for asbestos, if needed. Certain construction demo older than 2004 needs to be tested and not every construction load will need to be tested. We will verify if your loads meets the criteria for asbestos testing. If no asbestos is needed we can proceed with booking right away.

Before we can drop off your dumpster for you to begin loading, an asbestos test must be completed to ensure we’re complying with all the rules and regulations of Metro Transfer Station.

 âœ… Step Three: Schedule Your Dumpster Rental

Once the asbestos test comes back negative, we can move forward with scheduling and coordinating your dumpster drop-off and pick-up.

How It Works

Before you start, you’re probably wondering, “How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Portland, OR?” Affordable Junk Removal LLC offers various dumpster rental options.

Our rentals are priced for a 3 day rental period. We offer:

  • 10 Yard Dumpster Rental - $500

  • 16 Yard Dumpster Rental - $650

 

*First 2,000 pounds included and $600 per additional ton

​

Need more time? You can rent our dumpsters for up to three days with an additional charge of $25 for each added day.

​

Our team will drop the dumpster off on-site on your scheduled day so you can load it as you clean out your area. Once you're done or your scheduled time is up, our team will come to collect the dumpster.

We keep a card on file and you pay at the time of dumpster drop-off. Additional charges will be made accordingly.

Are There Items That Are Not Allowed in the Dumpsters?

Certain materials are not allowed in the dumpsters because they cannot be dumped at the Portland Metro Transfer Station, including:

If items that are not allowed are found in your dumpster, you will be charged a minimum $100 fee from Affordable Junk Removal LLC plus fees from Portland Metro Transfer Station.

What Items Will Need To Be Tested For Asbestos?

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality requires that any of the following items are tested:

  • Anterior walls and ceilings

  • Exterior walls

  • Flooring

  • Insulation/fireproofing materials

  • Gaskets

  • Heating

  • Roofing materials

  • Fire doors, fire/kiln brick, and fireproofing

  • Various compounds

  • Electrical materials

Are There Fees for Going Over the Allotted Weight?

At Affordable Junk Removal LLC, our 24-hour Portland dumpster rental fee includes the first 2,000 pounds. The 24-hour fee is dependent upon which size dumpster you choose. For each additional ton, a $175 fee will be charged.
